This version of the Luca 5 Light Duo Mount Pendant swaps in a camel woven shade for a softer, more natural look, while keeping the same wide, two point hanging design. It sits at a scale between a single pendant and the full Luca chandelier, giving a good amount of light without overwhelming the room. Luca is part of the Lisa McDennon collection for Quintiesse.
The black and camel finish
The frame is black steel, with a camel toned woven shade that softens the overall look compared with the all black version. It's a good choice if you want the texture of a woven shade without a strong black statement, and pairs well with warm wood, rattan or brass accents nearby.
How it works
The pendant takes five E14 bulbs, up to 40W each, not supplied, and will only dim if dimmable bulbs are fitted. It's a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed supply and installation by a qualified electrician. The two suspension points are 71cm apart, with a drop that adjusts from 36.5cm to 128cm.
Where it works best
The wide, duo mount format suits a kitchen island or a longer dining table, where the two suspension points let the shade run lengthwise rather than hanging as a single central drop. Because the drop is adjustable, it also works in rooms with more modest ceiling heights, or can be lowered for a more intimate feel over a table.
