The Luca 5 Light Duo Mount Pendant takes the same woven, textured look as the wider Luca collection and puts it into a lower, wide format pendant, suspended from two points rather than one. It's a good option where you want a strong, sculptural light without the full scale of the multi tier chandelier. Luca is part of the Lisa McDennon collection for Quintiesse.
The black finish
Steel frame and woven shade are both finished in black, giving the pendant a graphic, tailored look that works equally well in a modern kitchen or a more traditional dining room. It's a finish that sits comfortably alongside black taps, handles or window frames if you're building a coordinated scheme.
How it works
Five E14 bulbs, up to 40W each, are needed. These are not supplied, and dimming only works if dimmable bulbs are fitted. The pendant is Class I, so it must be connected to an earthed supply by a qualified electrician. Its two suspension points sit 71cm apart, and the drop can be adjusted from 36.5cm to 128cm to suit your ceiling.
Where it works best
Its wide, two point mount makes this pendant a natural fit above a kitchen island or a long dining table, where a single central pendant would look lost. The adjustable drop also means it can be set lower over a table for focused light, or raised in a room with a lower ceiling.
