Sitting between the collection's smaller pendants and its largest chandeliers, the Loras 3 Light Chandelier offers a more compact cluster of three clear seeded glass shades on black fabric cords, hung from a steel frame finished in polished chrome. It's a versatile size for everyday dining tables and kitchen islands that don't need the full spread of the larger Loras chandeliers.
The chrome finish
The polished chrome finish gives this chandelier a clean, contemporary look that sits comfortably in both traditional and modern interiors. Paired with the clear seeded glass, which carries small bubbles and a slightly uneven surface from its manufacture, the fitting has a mix of industrial simplicity and a more tactile, handmade character. It works well with chrome, glass and pale wood finishes, or as a lighter counterpoint to darker cabinetry and worktops.
How it works
It takes 3 x E27 LED bulbs, not supplied, and is dimmable provided you fit dimmable bulbs and use a compatible dimmer switch. The drop is adjustable between 68.1cm and 224.8cm, letting you set the shades at the right height above a table or in a taller space. As a Class I fitting, it needs an earthed electrical supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
Quintiesse positions this size for living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms and hallways. With a depth of 47.9cm, it's proportioned for a standard sized dining table or breakfast bar rather than a large island, and the generous drop adjustment makes it a practical choice for stairwells or landings with varying ceiling heights. At 6.6kg it's straightforward to hang, though as with any ceiling fitting it's worth checking your fixing point can take the weight.
