Quintiesse Linara 6 Light Chandelier / Pendant - Black & Natural Brass

The Linara 6 Light Chandelier is the largest fitting in the Linara family, a statement piece built from slatted matte black steel with natural brass detailing running through its structure. Six lamps sit within the frame, throwing light and shadow through the slats in a way that gives a room texture rather than a single flat glow. It reads equally as a chandelier or a pendant depending on where you hang it, which suits taller or more formal spaces particularly well.

The body is finished in a deep matte black that keeps the silhouette calm, while natural brass elements run along the slatted shade like fine jewellery against dark metal. It is a finish that sits comfortably with contemporary schemes as well as the warmer, more tactile lines of mid century design, and pairs naturally with walnut, brass hardware and darker paint tones nearby.

How it works

Six E14 bulbs are needed to light the Linara 6 Light Chandelier, and as with all our fittings, bulbs are not included. The rod allows the drop to be adjusted from 63.6cm up to 155cm, so the fitting can be set to suit ceiling height and how low you want it to hang over a table or through a stairwell. It is dimmable, but only if you fit dimmable LED bulbs, standard bulbs will not dim even on a dimmer switch.

Where it works best

With a 66cm footprint and a generous drop range, this is a fitting for rooms with some scale to them. Living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and stairs are all suited spaces, and the adjustable drop makes it particularly useful over a stairwell where the ceiling height changes as you move through the space. At 19kg it is a substantial fitting, so before ordering it is worth checking that your ceiling has a secure, load rated fixing point to take the weight.
