Quintiesse Lahden Single Medium Wall Lantern - Weathered Zinc

The Lahden Single Medium Wall Lantern is the larger of the two wall mounted lanterns in the collection, with enough scale to hold its own beside a wide front door, garage or double height porch wall. It keeps the same carriage inspired, chain link detailing that runs through the whole Lahden family, just in a bigger, more substantial size.

Weathered zinc finish and seeded glass

Aluminium is cast and finished in weathered zinc, a grey finish with an industrial, aged character rather than a bright new metal look, then paired with clear seeded glass that gives the light a gently textured quality instead of a flat, even glow. At this larger scale the finish and glasswork have more surface to work with, so the detailing feels more pronounced than on the smaller lantern in the range.

How it works

It takes 1 x E27 LED bulb, not supplied, and fixes to the wall on a set bracket. Fit dimmable bulbs and it will dim, standard bulbs will not. As a Class I fitting it requires an earthed supply and should be wired in by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 44cm high, 17.8cm wide and projecting 19.7cm from the wall, it has the presence to work on either side of a wide entrance, a garage, or a taller porch wall where a smaller lantern would look lost. With an IP44 rating it is suited to sheltered exterior positions such as covered entrances and porches.
