The Kepler Medium Pendant takes a single sphere of natural alabaster and lets it do the talking. It's a quieter, more compact take on the material than the cluster design in the same range, sized to work as a single drop over a table or in a run of two or three.
A single sphere of natural alabaster
The shade is carved from one solid piece of alabaster, so the stone's veining and soft cloud like markings are entirely its own, no two pendants will show quite the same pattern. It hangs from a brushed gold finished fitting, a warm metal tone that sits nicely against the pale stone and suits both contemporary and softer, more traditional rooms.
How it works
An integrated 15W LED sits inside the fitting, producing 1115 lumens of warm white 3000K light. As the LED is built in rather than a separate bulb, there is no bulb to source or replace later, though the pendant will only dim if it is connected through a compatible dimmer switch. The drop is adjustable between 58cm and 207.4cm, so the hanging height can be set to suit the room. It is Class II double insulated, meaning no earth connection is needed, though we would still recommend a qualified electrician carry out the installation.
Where it works best
At 30.4cm across and with a generous adjustable drop, this size suits a dining table, a kitchen island, or a hallway where a single striking pendant is wanted rather than a cluster. It also works well repeated in twos or threes over an island or breakfast bar. At 22kg, it is a solid fitting, so check your ceiling has a secure, load rated fixing point before it goes up.
