Quintiesse Karlee 5 Light Chandelier - Classic Pewter

Sitting in the middle of the Karlee range, this five light chandelier has enough scale to anchor a dining table or living room without the sheer size of the largest fittings in the collection. A tiered steel frame carries antique style crystal droplets that keep the look decorative and traditional while staying clean rather than fussy.

Classic Pewter finish

The frame is finished in Classic Pewter, a soft grey with a subtly aged character that reads as considered rather than dated. The crystal droplets add movement and sparkle across the piece, and the finish works comfortably with warm wood furniture, aged brass accents or a plainer, more neutral room.

How it works

Five E14 bulbs are needed (LED recommended, bulbs not included), and the frame itself measures 56.5cm high by 61cm in depth. The drop adjusts from 69.2cm to 160.6cm, allowing it to sit at a standard ceiling height or be lowered further, over a table for example. Dimming works with dimmable bulbs fitted, not with standard ones. It's a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

This size does well as the main light over a dining table, as a central feature in a living room, or in a hallway with reasonable ceiling height. The 69.2cm to 160.6cm drop range also makes it workable in a stairwell or split level space, provided you check the range against the ceiling height and clearance you have to work with first. At 6.6kg it's manageable for most standard ceiling fixings.
