Quintiesse Kabo Outdoor Wall Light Medium - Powder Coat Black

The Kabo Medium is the larger of the two sizes in Quintiesse's Kabo collection, an outdoor wall light built around a sweeping wave shaped body that gives it real presence beside a front door, along a wide porch or spaced across a garden facing wall. Light from the integrated LED passes through a curved, clear seeded glass panel, softening into a textured glow rather than a hard beam, so the fitting reads as architectural detail after dark as much as it does a simple light source.

Powder coat black finish

The body is cast in aluminium and finished with a powder coated black coating, chosen for exterior fittings because it resists the fading and corrosion that weather brings over time, staying crisp through seasons of rain and sun. Set against that matte black, the clear seeded glass diffuser has a naturally rippled, bubbled texture, so the light it throws shifts subtly through the day and glows unevenly once it's dark. It sits comfortably against render, brick, timber cladding or stone, and pairs easily with black door furniture, downlights or a matching Kabo Small elsewhere on the same elevation.

How it works

Kabo Medium is fitted with an integrated 10W LED module producing 200 lumens at a warm white 3000K, built into the fitting so there's no separate bulb to source, fit or replace. It's dimmable, provided it's wired through a compatible dimmer switch, otherwise it will simply run at full brightness. As a Class I fitting it must be connected to an earthed electrical supply, and installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At just over 50cm tall, this is the larger of the two Kabo sizes and suits spots where a fitting is allowed to make a proper impact: flanking an entrance door, spaced along a long porch, or marking the kitchen or hallway door that leads out to the garden or side passage. At 4.87kg it's straightforward to fix to most exterior walls, though it should still be mounted into a solid, secure fixing point as with any wall light.
