Quintiesse Inizio Wall Light - Matte Black

The Inizio Wall Light turns a simple geometric form into a piece of wall mounted sculpture. Angular facets are lit from their edges, so the fitting throws soft pools of light and shadow across the wall behind it rather than a single bright source.

Matte black finish

Made from aluminium and steel with acrylic light guides, finished in matte black, it has a compact, understated profile when unlit and a graphic, layered glow once switched on. The dark finish suits corridors and feature walls where you want the light itself to be the decoration rather than the fitting.

How it works

Light comes from an integrated 20W LED built into the fitting, producing 802 lumens of warm white 3000K light with an estimated 20,000 hour lifespan, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It is dimmable if wired through a compatible LED dimmer switch. The fitting is Class II (double insulated) and is designed for a fixed wall mounted position rather than an adjustable drop.

Where it works best

Its slim profile, 17.6cm wide and projecting just 10.2cm from the wall, makes it well suited to hallways, staircases, and living rooms or bedrooms where wall space is at a premium. Used in pairs, it works well flanking a mirror, doorway, or headboard.
