Where the larger Ibiza runs wide, this medium version turns the same design on its end: a slim vertical column of a wall light, standing 40.6cm tall, with a glowing glass centre held inside a slender metal frame. Rounded ends soften the shape, keeping it in step with the rest of the Ibiza range.
Black oxide finish
Finished in black oxide, the aluminium frame has a matte, deeply pigmented surface that reads almost like dark stone. It frames a faux alabaster glass diffuser with a soft, marbled glow, a contrast that works well against dark tile, matte black taps or graphite surfaces, and one that tends to recede into the wall in low light rather than drawing attention to the fitting itself.
How it works
With an IP44 rating, this fitting is built to handle the humidity of a bathroom, so long as it is kept out of the immediate splash zone of a bath or shower, in zones 2 and 3 as defined by UK wiring regulations. It runs on an integrated 21.5W LED source built into the fixture rather than a swappable bulb, and it is dimmable provided it is connected to a dimmer switch rated for LED loads. As a Class I fitting it must be wired to an earthed supply and installed by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
Its narrow, upright shape (12.7cm wide, with a 12.6cm projection) makes this the version to reach for when wall space is tight, either as a single light beside a mirror or fitted in a matching pair to flank one symmetrically. That vertical footprint also suits narrower stretches of wall in en suites or cloakrooms where the wider Ibiza would not comfortably fit.
