Quintiesse Horizon LED Large Ring Pendant - Teak Veneer

The Horizon Large Ring Pendant takes the simplicity of a circle and gives it movement, its teak veneer band gently undulating around a soft acrylic diffuser. The effect is a warm, glowing ring rather than a hard edged shape, making it a quiet centrepiece for a room rather than a shout.

The teak veneer finish

The 600mm ring is built from natural teak wood veneer, so the grain and tone vary slightly from one pendant to the next in the way real timber does. It sits well against oak and walnut furniture, warm toned kitchens, and neutral or earthy colour schemes, and its organic texture softens rooms that lean heavily on stone, tile or glass.

How it works

Light comes from an integrated 43W LED module built into the ring, producing around 1540 lumens of warm white 3000K light. There is no separate bulb to source or change, though because the fitting is non dimmable it will run at full brightness and is not compatible with a dimmer switch. It is Class II rated, so it does not require an earthed supply, and the flex allows the drop to be adjusted between roughly 58cm and 298cm at installation.

Where it works best

At 600mm across, this size suits dining tables, kitchen islands, living room seating areas and hallways where a single strong pendant is wanted rather than a run of smaller lights. The generous drop adjustment also makes it a workable option above a staircase or in a room with a higher than average ceiling, as long as the fitting is hung with the finished drop checked against the space beforehand.
