Henri reworks the classic wall light into something crisper and more architectural: a precision cut acrylic panel held within a shaped metal frame, made to be fitted vertically or horizontally depending on the wall. In Polished Chrome, the effect is bright and reflective, with light catching the metal frame almost as much as it passes through the acrylic panel itself.
The Polished Chrome finish
Polished Chrome gives Henri a bright, mirror like surface that throws back light rather than absorbing it, which makes the fitting feel especially clean against white or pale walls. It is a natural match for chrome taps and fittings, white sanitaryware, glass shelving or marble surfaces, and tends to suit more contemporary, monochrome schemes rather than heavily traditional ones.
How it works
Henri can be mounted vertically or horizontally to suit the space, and takes 2 x 25W E27 bulbs, not supplied. It will dim if dimmable bulbs are fitted, but not otherwise. As a Class I fitting it needs an earthed electrical supply, so it should be installed by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
Its IP44 rating makes this Polished Chrome finish a good fit for bathrooms and en suites, including as vanity lighting flanking a mirror, and it is suitable for use in bathroom zones 2 and 3, the areas outside the immediate splash zone around a bath or shower. As with any bathroom installation, it is worth checking the zone requirements for your specific layout before deciding where to fit it. Beyond the bathroom, its slim 11.5cm width and reflective finish also suit a hallway, cloakroom or landing where a brighter, more contemporary look is wanted.
