Henri takes the familiar shape of a traditional wall light and gives it a cleaner, more architectural edge: a precision cut acrylic panel set within a shaped metal frame, which can be mounted vertically or horizontally to suit the wall rather than the other way round. In Heritage Brass, that modern geometry is softened by a warmer, more classic tone.
The Heritage Brass finish
Heritage Brass brings a warm, slightly aged gold tone to the cast detailing and frame, set off by the clear acrylic panel it surrounds. It is a finish that suits more traditional or transitional interiors particularly well, sitting comfortably alongside warm wood tones, marble surfaces or other brushed brass fittings in the room, while Henri's clean lined silhouette keeps it from feeling overly ornate.
How it works
The fitting holds 2 x 25W E27 bulbs, which are not supplied, and can be dimmed provided dimmable bulbs are used. It can be fitted vertically or horizontally depending on the space. As a Class I fitting, it needs to be wired to an earthed electrical supply, so installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
This finish works particularly well as bathroom lighting, whether positioned either side of a mirror or used as general wall lighting, and its IP44 rating means it is suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3, the areas outside the immediate splash zone around a bath or shower. It is worth checking the zone requirements for your own bathroom layout before settling on a position. At 56cm high with a 10cm projection, it also reads well as a hallway or landing light, or as a pair either side of a bed in a room with a more traditional feel.
