Quintiesse Heath Single Small Wall Lantern - Mottled Black

This small Heath carries the same hexagonal, coach lantern styling as the rest of the range into a more compact footprint, a domed roof, curved arm and clear seeded glass cage over an aluminium, brass and steel frame. It's a practical option wherever a full sized lantern would dominate rather than complement the entrance, a cottage doorway, a terraced house front, a narrow side passage.

The mottled black finish

Finished in mottled black, this small lantern has a textured, uneven tone across its metalwork rather than a single block colour, which keeps the facets visually interesting even close up. It suits smaller period properties as readily as more contemporary ones, working against painted render, brick or stone, and sitting well alongside black window frames or door hardware.

• Dimmable, but only when dimmable bulbs are fitted.
• Electrical Class I, so it needs an earthed supply and installation by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 41.8cm high, 26.7cm wide and projecting 12.5cm, and weighing 2.7kg, this small Heath is easy to fit either side of a narrower door, on a slim brick pier, or at a side or back entrance where a heavier, larger lantern wouldn't be practical. It's a particularly good match for terraced houses and cottages with modest door surrounds.
