This two light Hadrian flush fitting takes on a darker, more dramatic look in oil rubbed bronze, and the etched opal glass shade blends the two bulbs inside into a single, even glow rather than two visible points of light.

Oil rubbed bronze has a deep, almost blackened tone that suits bathrooms with darker tiling or a more traditional, moody palette. The etched opal glass shade softens the light from the two bulbs, so the fitting reads as one continuous source rather than a pair of bright points.

How it works

It takes 2 x E27 bulbs, not supplied, and only dims if dimmable bulbs are fitted, since there's no dimmer built into the fitting. It's Class I, so it needs an earthed supply and installation by a qualified electrician. With an IP44 rating it's protected against splashing water, which brings it into bathroom zones 2 and 3, though you should confirm the zone requirements for your own layout, see our bathroom lighting guide for more. Where it works best

At 30.5cm across but only 11.7cm deep, it suits bathrooms where you want a main ceiling light with a decent spread of output but limited headroom, the two bulb layout gives more light than the single Hadrian fitting without the fitting itself sitting any deeper.
