Quintiesse Hadrian 2 Light Bathroom Flush Fitting - Clear Glass - Brushed Bronze

The Hadrian two light flush fitting takes its cue from midcentury bathroom lighting, a single glass shade set flush to the ceiling with two bulbs inside. In this version the shade is clear rather than opal, so the bulbs themselves become part of the look rather than being hidden behind frosted glass.

Brushed bronze and clear glass

Finished in brushed bronze, this fitting has a warmer, softer sheen than a polished metal, and works well against natural materials such as wood, stone or warmer toned tiling. Paired with the clear glass shade, the two bulbs are visible through the glass, so the shape of bulb you choose, globe, candle or similar, will show through and affect the overall look.

How it works

Two E27 bulbs are needed, not supplied, and the fitting only dims if dimmable bulbs are used, since there's no dimmer built into the fitting itself. It's a Class I fitting, requiring an earthed supply and installation by a qualified electrician. Its IP44 rating means it can cope with the humidity and occasional splashes typical of a bathroom, and puts it within reach of zones 2 and 3, though it's worth checking your own bathroom's zone layout, see our bathroom lighting guide for more detail. Where it works best

Spanning 30.5cm across but sitting just 11.7cm proud of the ceiling, it suits bathrooms where floor to ceiling height is limited but you still want a reasonable spread of light from a two bulb fitting, such as over a vanity run or in a family bathroom.
