Quintiesse Flora 10 Light Linear Chandelier - Textured Plaster

Flora is a linear run of ten lights disguised as a sculpture, with each bulb sitting inside a hand painted floral form. Part of the Lisa McDennon Collection, it stretches out rather than hangs down, so it reads as one continuous botanical piece over a table or island rather than a cluster of pendants.

The textured plaster finish

Here Flora is finished in a matte textured plaster, with none of the shine of a metallic finish. The chalky, tactile surface softens the drama of the floral forms and suits contemporary or pared back interiors, plastered walls, oak or pale stone, and rooms where you want the sculptural shape without a strong metallic note.

How it works

It takes 10 x 40W E14 bulbs, not supplied, and only dims if dimmable bulbs are fitted. As a Class I fitting it needs an earthed supply and installation by a qualified electrician. The drop is adjustable between 78.6cm and 383.4cm so the height can be tuned on site, and a 508mm x 102mm canopy at the ceiling keeps the wiring neat.

Where it works best

At 152.4cm wide, this is a fitting for a run rather than a single point, a long dining table, a kitchen island, or a table set along a wall. Because the drop is adjustable across such a wide range, it is worth measuring your own ceiling height and desired clearance above the table before choosing your final position.
