Quintiesse Fairfield Single Large Wall Lantern - Olde Bronze

The largest of the Fairfield lanterns, this Olde Bronze wall light is built for entrances that need a bit more presence. Its bronze toned aluminium frame and clear seeded glass borrow from traditional coach lantern design while staying practical for everyday outdoor use.

Olde Bronze finish and seeded glass

The larger Fairfield lantern shares the same Olde Bronze finish as the rest of the range, an aged bronze tone applied to the aluminium frame to give depth and character rather than a flat surface. Combined with the clear seeded glass, it has the look of a well worn traditional coach lantern, at home on farmhouse walls, gate posts and grander period entrances.

How it works

This larger lantern also runs on a single E27 bulb, not supplied, and dims only if a dimmable bulb is fitted, otherwise it operates at one fixed brightness. It mounts flush to the wall via a fixed backplate rather than a drop rod, so it is worth choosing its final position with the door or porch layout in mind before installation. The bulb is not included and should be selected separately based on the brightness and colour temperature you want.

Where it works best

The larger scale and 22.3cm projection suit grander entrances, farmhouse porches, or either side of a garage or outbuilding door, where the Olde Bronze finish adds warmth against stone or brick. As with the rest of the range, it carries an IP44 rating for outdoor use, and at 2.5kg it should be fixed into a solid wall surface.
