Quintiesse Elroy Single Pendant - Brushed Nickel

Elroy is a charming mini pendant built around the kind of detailing that usually only shows up on much larger fittings: cast knobs, a bold strap wrapped around the shade, and a clear ribbed optic glass diffuser that catches the light rather than just covering the bulb. It is a compact fitting with a lot of character, equally happy hung solo over a small table or repeated in a row above a run of worktop.

The brushed nickel finish

This version is finished in brushed nickel, a soft, satin textured metal that softens reflections rather than throwing them back sharply. It reads warmer and more forgiving of fingerprints and everyday kitchen splashes than a polished metal would, and it sits comfortably alongside matte black taps, oak or walnut cabinetry, and the kind of pared back, farmhouse leaning schemes where Elroy's cast detailing can do the talking.

How it works

Elroy takes 1 x E27 LED bulb, which is not supplied, so you can choose the exact colour temperature and style (an Edison style filament bulb suits the fitting's character well). It is dimmable, but only if you fit dimmable bulbs, standard LEDs will not dim even on a dimmer controlled circuit. The drop is adjustable between roughly 46.6cm and 107.6cm, so it can be set for a low over table hang or a longer run down a taller wall. This is a Class I fitting, meaning it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

With a compact 25cm footprint, Elroy suits kitchens and dining rooms where you want pendant light without a large fitting dominating the space, over a breakfast bar, a small dining table, or spaced along a run of island. The adjustable drop is worth checking against your ceiling height before ordering, particularly if you are hanging it low over a table or want a specific clearance above a worktop.
