The Demark Linear Pendant is built around a sequence of overlapping LED rings set within a slim horizontal frame, a design that shifts and layers depending on where you're standing. Rather than a single downlight, it reads as a piece of sculpture that happens to illuminate the room beneath it, making it a strong choice for anyone wanting a ceiling fitting with real presence.
Matte black finish
This version is finished in matte black across its aluminium and steel frame, with white acrylic used within the ring diffusers to soften and spread the light. The matte surface has a flat, non reflective texture that reads as understated rather than heavy, and works well against warm timber, brass hardware, or pale kitchen cabinetry where you want the fitting to anchor the space without competing with it.
How it works
The Demark Linear Pendant runs on an integrated 58W LED module producing around 2900 lumens of warm white 3000K light, so there's no separate bulb to source or replace. It's dimmable, provided it's connected to a compatible dimmer switch. The drop is adjustable from 27.5cm to 172.5cm, so it can be set to suit the ceiling height and the clearance you want above a table or island. It's rated Class II, meaning it's double insulated and doesn't require an earthed supply, though installation should still be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
At 107.1cm wide, this pendant is designed for horizontal spaces: over a kitchen island, running the length of a dining table, or centred above a living room seating area. It suits dining rooms, kitchens and living rooms where a wide, low hung fitting can do the work of several smaller ones, and the adjustable drop makes it easy to fine tune the hanging height once it's up.
