Quintiesse Crest 2 Light Wall Light - Gold Leaf

The same confident two arm silhouette is dressed in a distressed gold leaf finish, giving the wall light a warmer, more decorative character that suits a wider range of rooms, from living areas to bedrooms and kitchens.

Quintiesse describes many of its finishes as drawing on hand applied techniques, and the distressed gold leaf on this Crest is a good example, built up by hand across the steel frame so the surface catches light unevenly rather than in a single flat sheen. It's paired with two cream linen shades, which take the edge off the metal and keep the overall effect warm rather than showy. The finish sits comfortably in both classic and more contemporary settings, especially alongside brass, warm wood or richly coloured walls.

How it works

This Crest wall light takes two E14 bulbs, rated up to 40W each. As with all our lighting, bulbs aren't supplied. It's compatible with dimmable lamps, so fit dimmable bulbs if you want it to work on a dimmer circuit, standard bulbs will simply switch on and off. It's a Class I fitting, meaning it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 2.8kg it's a light fitting to mount, straightforward for most standard wall fixings, and its 45.7cm height and compact 10.2cm projection mean it sits neatly in living rooms, dining rooms and hallways as well as bedrooms and kitchens where a decorative wall light is wanted without the fitting jutting out too far.
