Quintiesse Clean LED Pendant - Teak Veneer

The Clean LED Pendant is a slim, linear light fitting finished in natural teak wood veneer, with an acrylic diffuser that spreads its integrated LED light evenly along its length. At 127cm wide it has genuine presence, making it well suited to spaces where a single fitting needs to do the visual work of several downlights, without adding clutter to a ceiling.

The body of this pendant is wrapped in a natural wood veneer with teak's characteristic warm grain, so no two pendants have exactly the same figuring. It pairs naturally with oak and walnut furniture, and reads well against both pale and dark wall colours. The long acrylic diffuser beneath softens the light coming from the integrated LED, so what you get is an even wash of light rather than a row of visible points.

How it works

Light comes from an integrated 29W LED module producing 1680 lumens in a warm white 3000K colour temperature, there's no separate bulb to buy or replace. The fitting is non dimmable, so the output is fixed once it's wired in. It's rated Class II, which means it does not need to be connected to an earth conductor during installation. The drop is adjustable between 48cm and 298cm, giving you flexibility over how far it hangs below the ceiling.

Where it works best

At 127cm wide, this pendant is a natural fit above a kitchen island, a run of worktop, or a rectangular dining table, anywhere you'd otherwise reach for two or three separate pendants. Its adjustable drop range, from under half a metre to nearly three metres, also makes it practical in rooms with higher ceilings or open stairwells, where getting the hanging height right matters more than in a standard room. Quintiesse lists this design as suited to living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, hallways and bedrooms.
