The Cameno Linear Pendant brings a strong architectural line to a room through its arrangement of slim, edge lit LED panels. Set slightly offset from one another, the panels throw light both up and down, so the fitting works as a genuine light source rather than just a decorative shape above a table.
Matte black finish
This version is finished in a deep matte black across its aluminium and steel frame, with the light itself diffused through white acrylic panels. The matte surface keeps reflections soft and the black tone reads as understated rather than heavy, so it sits comfortably in kitchens and dining spaces that lean toward warm woods, stone worktops or brass hardware just as easily as in an all monochrome scheme.
How it works
Cameno uses an integrated LED light source built into the panels themselves, rated at 74W and producing around 4700 lumens of warm white 3000K light, so there are no separate bulbs to source or replace. The fitting is dimmable, provided it is wired to a compatible LED dimmer switch. It is rated Class II, so no earth connection is required. The drop is adjustable between 33cm and 170.2cm at installation, allowing the height above a table or island to be set to suit the room. The pendant itself, cable and integrated LED panels are included; a dimmer switch, if wanted, is not.
Where it works best
At 114.5cm wide, this is a fitting built for horizontal runs, over a kitchen island, a long dining table, or a run of worktop, where its offset panels can spread light evenly across the surface below. Because it weighs 9kg, it needs a secure, load rated ceiling fixing rather than a standard rose, so it suits rooms where that kind of fixing point can be arranged at the planning stage. The adjustable drop also makes it workable in rooms with higher than average ceilings, where the fitting can be lowered closer to the surface it's meant to light.
