Quintiesse Cairo 1 Light Pendant - Vintage Brass

Hung low over a table or alone in a hallway, the Cairo 1 Light Pendant puts its ribbed glass and structured steel frame front and centre. The vertical fluting in the glass means the fitting throws light unevenly across its surface rather than glowing as a flat disc, giving it more presence than a plain glass pendant of the same size.

Vintage Brass finish

The Vintage Brass finish brings a warmer, more traditional cast to the steel frame, with a soft aged quality rather than a bright polished shine. Against the clear ribbed glass it reads as classic and slightly nostalgic, an easy match for warm wood tones, aged mirrors or other brass fittings already in the room.

How it works

The fitting is designed for a single 60W E27 bulb, which is not supplied. Drop is adjustable between 71.1cm and 173.8cm so the hanging height can be tailored to the room, and dimming is possible if dimmable bulbs are used. As a Class I fitting it must be wired to an earthed supply and fitted by a qualified electrician. You'll need to source your own bulb before installation.

Where it works best

This size of pendant is well suited to bedrooms, hallways and smaller dining spaces where a single decorative drop is wanted rather than a large central chandelier. The adjustable drop also makes it a practical option over a landing or stairwell, though it's worth measuring your ceiling height against the 71.1cm to 173.8cm range first to make sure the clearance works.
