Quintiesse Cadence 2 Light Wall Light - Antique White

The Cadence 2 Light Wall Light brings a compact, sculptural presence to Quintiesse's asymmetrical Cadence collection. Two organic forms sit slightly off centre from one another, creating a rhythmic, almost musical composition that reads as abstract sculpture as much as it does a light source. It suits anyone who wants a wall light with genuine visual interest, not just illumination.

An artful antique white finish

Cast in steel and finished in Quintiesse's antique white, this wall light has a soft, textural surface that catches light differently depending on the angle you view it from. The chalky, matte quality of the finish sits comfortably against most wall colours, from crisp white to deeper neutrals, and pairs particularly well with natural materials such as timber, rattan and linen in a scheme built around texture rather than shine.

How it works

This wall light takes 2 x 60W E14 golf ball bulbs, which are not supplied. Fit dimmable bulbs if you want the option to dim; without them, the fitting will only run at full brightness, even on a dimmer controlled circuit. It's rated Class I, so it needs to be wired to an earthed supply and installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At just 23.5cm high and 11.4cm wide, with a 14cm projection, this is a fitting suited to spaces where you want ambience rather than a dominant statement, hallways, landings, either side of a bedroom mirror, or as a pair flanking a chimney breast in a living or dining room. Its compact scale also makes it a good fit for smaller rooms or narrower hallways where a larger wall light would feel cramped.
