The Booker pedestal lantern brings the same antique carriage lantern styling to a standalone post fitting, designed to sit atop a pier or pedestal rather than hang from a wall. It marks a driveway entrance, gate post or boundary wall with a steady, glowing point of light rather than the wider wash of a floodlight.

The aluminium finish

Made from aluminium and steel with clear seeded glass, the pedestal lantern shares the same silver finish and rounded detailing as the rest of the Booker family, so it can be paired with the wall or chain versions for a consistent look across a property's entrance and elevations.

How it works

It runs on a single E27 LED bulb, not supplied, and is dimmable if dimmable bulbs are fitted. As a pedestal fitting it sits fixed to the top of a matching pier or post rather than being adjustable, so the mounting point does the work of setting its height.

Standing 46.6cm high, 21.9cm wide and 18.8cm deep, and weighing 3.7kg, this is a substantial fitting best suited to marking gate posts, driveway entrances or the corners of a front garden wall, where its scale reads clearly from the street. Its IP44 rating means it is built for permanent outdoor exposure to rain and damp conditions.
