Quintiesse Bexley Single Table Lamp - White & Brushed Brass

There is nothing fussy about Bexley. It is a simple, well proportioned table lamp built around a ceramic base with a gently ribbed texture, a fabric shade, and a neat metal cap that finishes the design off. The appeal is in how easily it fits into a room, adding a warm pool of light without competing with anything else on the surface around it.

Here the base comes in a clean white ceramic, with the fine ribbed detailing picked out more softly than it would be on a darker finish. The brushed brass cap and fittings add warmth, and Quintiesse describes many of its brass finishes as drawing on artisan brushing techniques, which gives the metal a soft, non reflective texture rather than a hard shine. Finished with a faux silk shade, it is a good match for warmer neutral schemes, natural wood, and rooms that lean toward a softer, more traditional look.

How it works

The lamp is designed for 1 x E27 LED bulb, which you will need to source separately as bulbs are not included. It can be dimmed, but only when dimmable LED bulbs are fitted, standard non dimmable bulbs will not respond to a dimmer switch. As a Class I fitting, it needs to be connected to an earthed supply, and any hardwiring should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Standing 56.2cm tall with a 30cm depth, Bexley has a good scale for bedside tables, console tables and sideboards. It has been designed with living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways in mind, so it works well as a bedside pair, a single lamp on a hallway table, or as extra ambient light in a dining room away from the main pendant.
