Quintiesse Atomo 3 Light Wall Light - Gold

The Atomo 3 Light Wall Light gathers three Crystal Pitch cut glass globes onto a single wall plate, each one catching the integrated LED behind it and scattering the light into small, faceted flashes. It's a compact way to bring genuine sparkle and dimension to a wall, whether used as a stand alone accent or alongside a matching pendant elsewhere in the room.

The brushed gold finish

This version is finished in a warm brushed gold across its aluminium and steel frame, a soft, low sheen metal that reads closer to burnished brass than a bright yellow gold. It sits comfortably against warm wood tones, deeper paint colours and other brass or gold hardware nearby, and the brushed texture is more forgiving of fingerprints and handling marks than a polished finish would be.

How it works

Each of the three globes is lit by a single integrated 13W LED module, giving a combined output of around 1160 lumens in a warm white 3000K tone. Because the LED is built into the fitting, there's no separate bulb to buy or replace. The light is dimmable, but only when wired to a compatible LED dimmer switch, a standard bulb dimmer won't work with the built in driver. It's a Class II, double insulated fitting, so it doesn't need an earthed supply, though wiring in is still best left to a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 63.1cm wide with a 21.1cm projection from the wall, it suits spaces that call for a horizontal run of light rather than a single point, above a console table in a hallway, along a landing, or either side of a mirror in a bedroom or living room. It's been used successfully in living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways. At 7.25kg it isn't especially heavy for a wall fitting, but it's still worth checking your wall construction can take the load securely before drilling.
