Ashland Bay in polished chrome brings a crisp, nautical clarity to the bathroom. Two clear seeded glass shades sit on a bright chrome frame, giving a fitting that reads clean and contemporary while still nodding to a traditional lantern shape.
Polished chrome finish
The chrome finish has a cool, reflective sheen that stays bright and easy to keep clean, making it a natural match for white metro tiles, marble or grey stone. Against the clear seeded glass, with its softly textured surface and trapped air bubbles, the chrome adds a crisp edge rather than competing with the glass for attention.
How it works
It takes two E27 bulbs, not included, and will dim if you fit dimmable bulbs. Standard bulbs will simply give on and off switching. An IP44 rating means it is protected against splashing water, so it can be wall mounted in a bathroom as long as it sits outside the immediate splash zone around a bath or shower.
Where it works best
Measuring 36.2cm across, it suits mounting on either side of a mirror above a single basin, spreading light evenly for grooming tasks without the shadows a single central ceiling light can cast. It also suits a guest bathroom or en suite where a pair either side of the mirror keeps the look balanced.
