Quintiesse Ascher Single Wall Light - Polished Nickel

A single arm holds a faceted crystal centre column and a matching crystal bobeche, letting the Ascher design work in spots where the two light version would be too wide. It is the same transitional silhouette in miniature, useful anywhere a fitting needs to sit inside a slim, upright space rather than spread across a wide wall panel.

Polished Nickel finish

Finished in Polished Nickel, the steel arm has a bright, cool sheen that complements the cut crystal rather than competing with it. The fitting projects further from the wall than it is wide, 15.9cm out against 12cm across, so the nickel surface catches light from several angles, worth bearing in mind when deciding how close to place it to a doorway or stair edge. An optional black organza shade is also available for a softer, more diffused look if you would rather not have the crystal fully exposed.

How it works

It runs on a single E14 bulb, not supplied, so you can pick a shape and warmth to suit the room. Dimming depends entirely on the bulb fitted, use a dimmable E14 bulb for that control, otherwise it will be on or off only. This is a Class I fitting, meaning it needs an earthed supply and should be wired in by a qualified electrician rather than as a DIY job.

Where it works best

Its narrow 12cm width makes it a natural choice for tighter runs: stair landings, narrow hallway walls or the gap beside a bedroom mirror, spots where a wider two light version would not sit comfortably. It also works well grouped in a run of three or more along a corridor, or as a single accent beside a bed, in a living room, bedroom, dining room or hallway.
