Quintiesse Anchorage 2 Light Wall Lantern - Aged Zinc

The 2 Light version of Anchorage doubles up on the same early American lantern styling, a wider, taller fitting cast in solid aluminium with two lamps set behind clear glass. Where the single lantern suits a modest doorway, this one is built to make more of a statement, with the extra scale and output suited to a more prominent entrance.

The Aged Zinc finish

Finished in the same Aged Zinc treatment as the rest of the Anchorage range, this lantern carries a muted, weathered grey tone over its aluminium frame, the kind of finish Quintiesse describes as hand applied to give a naturally aged rather than factory perfect look. Clear glass panels let the two lamps show through plainly, so the fitting reads as a genuine period lantern rather than a modern reproduction. It pairs naturally with brick, render or timber clad exteriors, and with darker door and window frames.

How it works

Two E14 bulbs (not supplied) sit inside the lantern, giving you control over brightness and colour temperature through your choice of lamp. Fit dimmable bulbs and the fitting will dim accordingly, without them it runs at fixed output. It is a Class I fitting, so it needs to be wired to an earthed supply by a qualified electrician. With an IP44 rating, it is built to withstand splashing water, making it suitable for open porches, canopies and other exposed outdoor spots.

Where it works best

At 45.1cm high, 23cm wide and weighing 4kg, this is a larger lantern suited to a wider door surround, a garage frontage or either side of a substantial entrance where a single lantern would look undersized. Its 19.6cm projection gives it more presence off the wall than the single light version, so allow enough clearance from paths, gates or car doors when positioning it.
