The smallest fitting in the Alford Place range, this single light half lantern is designed to sit flat against the wall rather than project outward, making it a neat option where space is tight. It keeps the same sealed glass roof and cast detailing as the rest of the collection, just scaled down to a single lamp.
Museum Black finish
Cast in aluminium and finished in Museum Black, its compact frame has the same matte, weather resistant coating as the larger lanterns in the range, so it can be used to bookend a doorway alongside bigger Alford Place fittings elsewhere on the building without looking mismatched.
How it works
It takes a single E27 bulb, not supplied, and dims only if a dimmable bulb is fitted. It's a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician. Its IP44 rating covers it for rain and general outdoor exposure.
Where it works best
At just 30cm high, 16.5cm wide and 13.8cm deep, this is the fitting for narrow porches, tight side passages, or either side of a slim doorframe where a projecting lantern wouldn't fit comfortably. Its shallow projection makes it a practical choice for covered porches with limited depth.
