The fitting is Class I electrical, meaning it requires an earth connection during installation. IP44 rating means it's splashproof and suitable for wet areas including bathroom zones 1 and 2, making it a genuinely versatile choice.

Is the bulb visible from below?
Yes, that's intentional. The clear glass means the bulb becomes part of the design. If you prefer to hide it, this isn't the fitting for you.
