Choosing Your Configuration

Duet is built to order, so the specification is yours to shape. Start with the driver: choose 0 to 10V dimming or DALI if the fitting needs to sit on a wider building control system, mains dimming for a simpler retrofit, or a non dimming driver where the corridor runs at a fixed level all day. Colour temperature comes down to 2700K for a warmer, residential feel or 3000K for a slightly crisper, more neutral wash, best judged against the finishes either wall is decorated in. IP rating steps up from IP54, suited to dry internal corridors, to IP65 where the location sees moisture, such as a basement corridor or a covered walkway. On the engine side, Origin Natural is Orluna's colour accurate LED platform, while Origin Natural High Efficiency trades a touch of that headline colour performance for improved lumens per watt, worth considering on longer runs with many fittings. Bezel finish is fixed to white (RAL 9010), a clean, recessive frame that keeps attention on the light itself rather than the fitting; bespoke RAL colours can be discussed directly with Orluna.

How It Works

Duet's double straight edge optic splits and directs light precisely along two opposing planes, so instead of one wall catching a graduated wash and the other falling into shadow, both receive a uniform curtain of light simultaneously. The edge is kept crisp and glare is kept low by careful control of the light source position within the housing. Behind the optic, an aluminium body and heat sink draw heat away from the LED engine, which is what allows Duet to hold its colour output steady over years of continuous use rather than drifting or dimming prematurely.
