Solid concrete slabs, listed ceilings and structures with no void behind them rule out recessed lighting altogether, but that does not mean giving up on adjustability. Cloud Rose Adjustable mounts to a surface rose and still offers full aiming flexibility, without a single cut needed into the ceiling itself.

Choosing your configuration

Rose Adjustable offers the full configuration range available across the larger Cloud fittings. Choose the driver to suit the control system, Dali for scene based or building management control, 0 to 10V Dimming for architectural low voltage systems, Mains Dimming for a standard dimmer switch, or Non-Dimming for a fixed level. Three engines are available: Origin (General Use), Origin Natural (Highest Quality) for the truest colour rendering, and Origin Warm Dim (1800K to 3000K), which warms in tone as it dims. Colour temperature can be fixed at 2700K or 3000K, or run across the 1800K to 3000K Warm Dim range. Beam angle spans a narrow 30° up to a broad 56°. IP54 is the rating offered. Bezel and baffle are each available in Black or White (RAL 9010).

How It Works

Cloud Rose Adjustable mounts entirely to the surface of the ceiling via a rose plate rather than recessing into it, which makes it the fitting of choice where the ceiling structure is solid, has no void behind it, or simply cannot be cut into. A 360° rotation and 90° tilt mechanism built into the housing still allows the beam to be aimed precisely, so adjustability does not have to be sacrificed just because recessing is not an option. At 60mm in diameter, an aluminium body manages heat from the LED engine to protect long term colour consistency.

Where It Works Best

This is the fitting to specify wherever recessed lighting simply is not possible, solid concrete ceilings, heritage or listed buildings, and retrofit projects with no accessible void all suit Rose Adjustable well. It offers the same 360° rotation and 90° tilt adjustment as the recessed Cloud fittings, so art walls, feature walls and display areas that need precise aiming can still be lit properly even without cutting into the ceiling. Where a void is available and a flush, trimless look is preferred, Cloud Trimless Recessed would be the alternative.
