Camber Fixed: The Quiet, Consistent Workhorse of the Range
Not every downlight needs to move. Camber Fixed brings the same trimless, curved design and broad specification range as the rest of the Camber family to a straightforward, fixed downward beam, built for spaces where consistency across a run of fittings matters more than individual adjustment.
Choosing Your Configuration
Because the beam direction is set at manufacture rather than adjustable on site, it's worth taking care over engine and beam choice before ordering.
- Driver: 0 to 10V dimming, Dali, mains dimming or non dimming.
- Engine: Origin for general everyday lighting; Origin Natural, Orluna's highest quality option for accurate colour rendering; Origin Warm Dim, which lowers in colour temperature from 3000K down to 1800K as it dims, suited to hospitality and residential mood lighting; or Origin loPro, sized for installations with a limited ceiling void.
- Lamp temperature: fixed 2700K or 3000K white, or the 1800K to 3000K Warm Dim range where the Warm Dim engine is specified.
- Beam: from tight 18° accents up to broad 54° and 55° washes, chosen to suit the exact throw the space needs, since it cannot be changed after fitting.
- IP rating: IP54 for standard dry interiors, IP65 where moisture or dust protection is needed.
How It Works
Camber Fixed uses the same trimless, curved bezel as the rest of the Camber range, with the LED engine mounted in a fixed downward position rather than on a tilting mechanism. That fixed mount keeps moving parts out of the light path, and the aluminium heat sink construction shared across the Camber family manages heat from the LED to protect colour consistency and output over the long term.
Where It Works Best
With no adjustment needed after installation, Camber Fixed suits large scale, repeat applications, hospitality corridors, retail floors, open plan ceilings, where a grid of downlights needs to read as uniform. Compared with Camber Adjustable and Camber Twin Adjustable, it trades aiming flexibility for a simpler specification and installation, and compared with Camber Mini Fixed it steps up to the 80mm bezel scale suited to larger rooms and higher ceilings.
Made By Orluna
Orluna remains British design and manufacturing led, building fittings like Camber Fixed to be specified on international projects while keeping production and long term support close to home. Rather than quoting theoretical LED chip output, Orluna tests each completed luminaire after optical, thermal, bezel and baffle losses, at normal operating temperature, so the photometry it publishes reflects how the fitting actually performs once installed.
