Alta Zero is built for situations where depth is the limiting factor rather than output. Its low profile housing sits almost flush to the surface it is set into, delivering a broad, gentle wash of light from a fitting that barely announces itself.

Choosing Your Configuration

Alta Zero offers two of the widest beam angles in the family, 43 degrees and 50 degrees, both suited to a soft, even flood rather than a tight beam. Colour temperature is available in 2700K for a warmer, traditional tone or 3000K for a slightly crisper warm white. Choose the IP54 rating for sheltered indoor niches or IP67 where the fitting will meet rain or standing water outdoors. Bezel finish is offered in stainless steel for durability in exposed settings, or powder coated white (RAL 9010) where a low profile fitting needs to disappear against a pale surface, with a black baffle fitted as standard to control glare.

How It Works

Despite its shallow depth, Alta Zero shares the same sealing standard as the rest of the range on its IP67 specification, with a breather gland to manage internal pressure and prevent condensation, and triple o-ring construction at the lens, body and cable entry to keep out dust and moisture. IP67 rated units can withstand temporary submersion, while IP54 units suit covered locations protected from direct wetting. The Origin Natural engine sits within a compact aluminium body that continues to draw heat away from the LED efficiently despite the reduced housing depth, protecting colour output over the fitting's working life.

Alta Zero is the specification to reach for when a step, threshold or niche simply does not have the depth to accept a standard uplight. Shallow stair treads, slim window sills and thin wall recesses all suit its minimal housing, and its wide 43 and 50 degree beams give a soft, wall grazing wash rather than a defined spot, in contrast to the tighter beams available on Alta and Alta Mini. Where those fittings are chosen for a more sculpted beam, Zero is chosen because there was nowhere else for a deeper fitting to go.
