Petalii Floor takes the same flower silhouette as the rest of the collection and sets it on a tall, curving stem, a single white bloom nodding gently at head height, casting a soft, downward glow rather than a bright overhead light.
White and polished brass
The bloom shaped shade is finished in matte white powder coated metal rather than glass, while the long, gently bending stem is polished brass, giving the whole piece a warm, sculptural presence in a room.
How it works
Petalii Floor takes a single E14 lamp, up to 25W, not included, seated at the centre of the flower head. Unlike its pendant and chandelier siblings, it's a plug in lamp rather than a hardwired fixture, supplied with a cable up to 230cm long. It's rated IP20, designed for dry indoor spaces only.
Where it works best
Standing around 170cm tall, it works well beside a sofa or an armchair, in the corner of a living room, or next to a bed, where its curved silhouette and soft light make it as much a piece of sculpture as a lamp.
About Nika Zupanc and Petalii
Nika Zupanc designed the Petalii collection as her own take on the classic flower lamp, and Nuura describes her approach as a search for an icon, a familiar shape reimagined with poetic sentiment. The Petalii Floor was named Best Floor Lamp and Best in Class: Lighting at the Livingetc Style Awards 2024.
