Nuura Miira Wall Light - Rock Grey & Optic Clear Glass

Miira Wall is a single hand blown glass globe held just off the wall by a slender arm, mounted to a small circular backplate. It's one of the simplest pieces in the Miira collection, designed to add a soft point of light rather than a strong wash of illumination.

Here, the arm and backplate come in rock grey, a deep, muted metal tone that reads as almost graphite in most rooms. Combined with the optic clear glass, whose embossed pattern catches the light and creates gentle shadow play, the result is a more graphic, contemporary version of the design.

Miira Wall takes a single G9 lamp (7W). It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in.

Where it works best

With an IP20 rating, this light is intended for dry indoor spaces. The rock grey finish works particularly well in darker, more tonal interiors, such as a study, snug or bedroom, where it can be used singly or in a considered pair.

Who should install the Nuura Miira Wall Light? It is a hardwired wall light, so it connects to the mains rather than plugging in. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.

What size is it? The light is 285mm high, 140mm wide and projects 177mm from the wall. The globe is 140mm in diameter and the round backplate is 105mm across.

Is the bulb included, and can it be dimmed? No, the light takes one G9 LED lamp of up to 7W, which is not supplied. It can be dimmed if you fit a dimmable LED lamp that suits your dimmer circuit.

Can I use it in a bathroom? It has an IP20 rating, which means it is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It is not intended for areas exposed to splashes or damp.

Can I return it? No. Nuura fittings are made to order, so they are non-returnable once ordered, unless an item arrives faulty.

Will the glass and finish match the photos exactly? The optic clear glass is mouth blown and the rock grey finish is hand applied, so small differences between pieces are normal.
