Miira Wall is a single hand blown glass globe held just off the wall by a slender arm, mounted to a small circular backplate. It's one of the simplest pieces in the Miira collection, built to add a soft point of light rather than a strong wash of illumination.
Brass finish and opal glass
This version combines a brass coloured arm and backplate with an opal white glass globe. The opal glass diffuses the light evenly across the whole surface of the sphere, producing a soft, gentle glow, while the brass finish gives the fitting a warm, quietly luxurious edge.
How it works
Miira Wall takes a single G9 lamp (7W). It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in.

With an IP20 rating, Miira Wall is designed for dry indoor spaces. Its soft, diffused glow makes it a good choice for a bedside wall light, a hallway, or either side of a favourite piece of art.

Does the Nuura Miira Wall Light need an electrician? Yes, it is a hardwired wall light. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.
Can I return it if I change my mind? No. Nuura fittings are made to order, so they are non-returnable once ordered, unless an item arrives faulty.
What light source does it take, and can it be dimmed? It takes one G9 LED lamp, 7W maximum, which is not supplied. It can be dimmed if you fit a dimmable LED lamp that suits your dimmer circuit.
How big is the Miira Wall Light? It is 285mm high, 140mm wide and projects 177mm from the wall. The glass globe is 140mm across and the round backplate is 105mm across.
Will the glass and brass finish look exactly like the photos? Not always. The globe is mouth blown and the finish is hand finished, so small differences between pieces are normal, and screens show colour differently. Call customer service if you are unsure.
Can I use it in a bathroom? It is rated IP20, so it is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It should not be used where it could be splashed.
