Miira Table brings the same hand blown glass globe used across the collection down to a freestanding lamp. A round metal base supports a slim stem, topped with the glass shade, so it can go anywhere there's a surface and a socket.
Rock grey finish and optic clear glass
This version pairs a rock grey metal base and stem with an optic clear glass shade. The glass carries a subtle embossed pattern that catches the light and throws a gentle, textured glow around it, while the rock grey finish gives the lamp a quiet, tonal presence on a shelf or table.
How it works
Miira Table takes a single G9 lamp (7W). Unlike the wall and ceiling lights in the collection, it isn't hardwired. It comes with its own cable and an inline on/off switch, so it simply plugs into a standard wall socket.
Where it works best
With an IP20 rating, Miira Table is designed for dry indoor spaces. It suits a console table, sideboard or bedside table, adding a soft, ambient glow rather than task lighting.
About Nuura
Nuura was founded in Copenhagen in 2017 by Sofie Refer, Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg. Miira Table takes the collection's simple, hand blown glass globe and turns it into an easy, portable source of light.
Good to know
- Made to order by Nuura, so please allow time for production and delivery.
- Non-returnable once ordered unless it arrives faulty.
- IP20 rated, suitable for dry indoor locations only.
- Comes with its own cable and inline on/off switch, ready to plug into a standard wall socket. No electrician needed.
- Takes one G9 lamp (7W). The lamp is not supplied.
- The glass is mouth blown and the finish is applied by hand, so small variations in the glass pattern and finish from piece to piece are normal, and screens show colour differently. If you are in any doubt about size or colour, please call our customer service team.
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth only, avoid household cleaning products.
Questions People Ask
Does the Nuura Miira Table lamp plug into a normal socket? Yes. It is not hardwired. It comes with its own cable and an inline on/off switch and plugs into a standard wall socket.
Is the bulb included? No. The lamp takes one G9 LED lamp of up to 7W, which is not supplied. The light source is replaceable.
Can I dim it? Yes, if you fit a dimmable G9 LED lamp that suits your dimmer circuit.
Can I return it? No. Nuura fittings are made to order, so they are non-returnable once ordered, unless an item arrives faulty.
How big is it? It stands 345mm high. The glass globe is 140mm in diameter and the base is 130mm in diameter, so it suits a shelf, sideboard or bedside table.
Will the glass look identical on every lamp? Not exactly. The optic clear glass is mouth blown and carries an embossed pattern, so small differences between pieces are part of its hand made character.
