Nuura Miira Large 6 Light Chandelier - Rock Grey & Optic Clear Glass

Miira Large is a bolder take on the Miira collection, built around six substantial hand blown glass globes gathered on a wide ceiling plate rather than the slender single stems used elsewhere in the range. Each globe can be arranged in a slightly different position, so the chandelier takes on a loose, organic formation rather than a rigid grid.

Rock grey finish and optic clear glass

This version pairs a rock grey metal frame with six optic clear glass globes. The optic texture in the glass catches the light and creates gentle glints and reflections across the surface, rather than a flat, uniform glow. The rock grey finish is a deep, muted tone that sits quietly in the background, letting the glass do the talking.

How it works

Miira Large 6 takes six G9 lamps (7W each, 42W in total). The pendants hang from a 32cm ceiling plate and can be adjusted to different heights, with a cable that extends up to 250cm, so the chandelier can be set to suit the room. It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in.

Where it works best

With a diameter of 47cm and each globe measuring around 20cm across, Miira Large 6 has enough presence to anchor a dining table, entrance hall or stairwell, while its minimalist frame keeps it from feeling heavy handed. It's rated IP20, so it's intended for dry indoor spaces rather than bathrooms or outdoor areas.

Miira Large was introduced as a heavier, more substantial counterpart to the slender pendants in the original Miira collection, sharing the same hand blown glass and considered proportions. Nuura was founded in Copenhagen in 2017 by Sofie Refer, Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg.
