Miira Large 6 gathers six of the collection's large, hand blown glass globes onto one substantial round ceiling plate, creating a full chandelier from the same simple pendant design. It's the boldest fitting in the Miira range, suited to rooms with real scale. It is also a genuinely large fitting, with a drop of up to 2500mm.

Brass finish and opal glass

This version combines a brass coloured ceiling plate and frame with six opal white glass globes. The opal glass diffuses the light evenly across each sphere, so the whole fitting reads as a soft, glowing cluster rather than six separate points of light, and the brass finish adds warmth throughout.

Miira Large 6 takes six G9 lamps (7W each). It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in.

With an IP20 rating, this chandelier is designed for dry indoor spaces. Its scale makes it a natural centrepiece for a large hallway, a staircase with a tall void, or a spacious dining or living room with high ceilings.

How big is the Nuura Miira Large 6 chandelier? The six globes are 200mm in diameter each and hang as a cluster 470mm across, from a 340mm ceiling plate. The maximum drop is 2500mm, so it suits rooms with real height and scale.

Does it need an electrician to install? We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting. It is a hardwired ceiling fitting and cannot be plugged in.

Are the bulbs included, and can it be dimmed? No, the six G9 LED lamps (7W maximum each) are not supplied. It can be dimmed if you fit dimmable LED lamps that suit your dimmer circuit.

Can I return it if I change my mind? No. Nuura fittings are made to order, so they are non-returnable once ordered, unless an item arrives faulty.

Will the opal glass and brass look exactly like the photos? The globes are mouth blown and the brass parts are hand finished, so small differences between pieces are normal. Screens also show colour differently, so please call customer service if you are unsure.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors? No. It is rated IP20, which means it is for dry indoor rooms only.
