Miira Large 13 is the most dramatic expression in the Miira collection, gathering thirteen substantial hand blown glass globes on a single wide ceiling plate. Each pendant can be arranged at a slightly different height, so the finished chandelier reads as a loose, cascading cluster rather than a rigid grid, giving it real presence in a tall or open space.
Rock grey finish and opal glass
This version pairs a rock grey metal frame with thirteen opal white glass globes. The opal glass diffuses the light evenly through the whole surface of each globe, giving a soft, gentle glow rather than sparkle, while the rock grey finish adds a deep, quiet contrast against the pale glass.
How it works
Miira Large 13 takes thirteen G9 lamps (7W each). The pendants hang from a wide ceiling plate and can each be set to a different length, with a cable that extends up to 250cm, allowing the overall drop to be tailored to the room. It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in.
Where it works best
With a diameter of around 98cm, Miira Large 13 is built for rooms with real scale, a double height hallway, a staircase, or as the centerpiece above a large dining table. It's rated IP20, so it's intended for dry indoor spaces rather than bathrooms or outdoor areas.
About Nuura
Miira Large sits at the top of the Miira range, taking the same hand blown glass and slender frames used throughout the collection and scaling them up into something more sculptural. Nuura was founded in Copenhagen in 2017 by Sofie Refer, Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg.
