Miira Large 13 is the most generous chandelier in the collection, gathering thirteen small hand blown glass globes across a ceiling plate almost 87cm wide, with the whole arrangement spreading to around 92cm overall. Rather than one big shade, it's built from many small ones, each on its own short drop, so the fixture reads as a cloud of individual points of light rather than a single dominant shape.
Brass and opal glass
The frame and fittings are finished in a warm brass tone, which underpins the softness of the glass rather than competing with it. Each of the thirteen globes is blown in opal white glass, diffusing the light into a gentle, even glow, so the overall effect is closer to a soft cluster of candlelight than a bright single source.
How it works
Thirteen G9 lamps, up to 7W each, are fitted individually into the globes (lamps not included), and the whole arrangement can be adjusted into different formations across the 86.9cm ceiling plate to suit the space beneath it. Cable drop runs up to a maximum of 250cm. It's a hardwired fixture and must be installed by a qualified electrician, and it's rated IP20 for dry indoor use only.
Where it works best
Given its scale and weight, Miira Large 13 is best suited to rooms with genuine presence, a large dining table, a stairwell, or a double height entrance hall where it can be seen and appreciated from more than one angle.
