Nuura Miira Large 1 Light Pendant - Rock Grey & Optic Clear Glass

Miira Large takes the collection's single pendant shape and scales it up, swapping the standard Miira 1 globe for a noticeably bigger one on the same slender stem. It keeps the same restrained silhouette, just with more presence, a heavier, more sculptural single point of light rather than the light, airy feel of the standard pendant.

Rock grey finish and optic clear glass

This version combines a rock grey finished stem with an optic clear glass globe, its fine embossed texture catching and scattering light rather than diffusing it evenly. The deeper grey tone of the metalwork sits well against the visible sparkle of the glass, giving the piece a slightly more graphic, contemporary feel.

How it works

Miira Large takes a single G9 lamp (7W). The glass globe measures around 20cm across, noticeably larger than the standard Miira 1's 14cm globe, with the fitting standing roughly 35.8cm tall and cable enough for a drop of up to about 250cm. It's a hardwired fitting, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its larger scale makes it a good single statement pendant, over a side table, above a small dining table, or as a focal point in an entrance hall, somewhere it has room to be seen clearly rather than being lost among other elements.

About Nuura

Nuura was founded in Copenhagen in 2017 by Sofie Refer, Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg. Miira Large was introduced to give the collection a bigger, weightier option alongside the original slender pendant.
