Miira 1 Large is a single pendant built around one large, hand blown glass globe, suspended from the ceiling on an adjustable cable. It has a bolder, more sculptural presence than the standard Miira pendant, thanks to its larger globe.
Brass finish and optic clear glass
This version pairs brass coloured metalwork with a large optic clear glass globe. The glass has a subtle embossed pattern that catches and scatters light as it passes through, creating a lively, faceted glow, while the brass finish adds warmth to the overall effect.
How it works
Miira 1 Large takes a single G9 lamp (7W). It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in.
Where it works best
With an IP20 rating, this pendant is designed for dry indoor spaces. Used singly it works well above a small table or in a stairwell, and it can also be hung in pairs or rows above a kitchen island or a longer dining table.

Questions People Ask
How big is the Nuura Miira Large pendant? The overall fitting is 358mm high, with a globe 200mm in diameter. The ceiling plate is 120mm across and 50mm deep.
How long can the cable be? The cable is adjustable, up to a maximum drop of 2500mm.
Does it need a qualified electrician to install? We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting. It is hardwired to the ceiling and is Class II.
What bulb does it take, and can it be dimmed? It takes one G9 LED lamp, 7W maximum, which is not supplied. It can be dimmed if you fit a dimmable LED lamp that suits your dimmer circuit.
Can I return it if I change my mind? No. Nuura fittings are made to order, so they are non-returnable once ordered, unless an item arrives faulty.
Is the glass the same on every pendant? The optic clear globe is mouth blown, so small differences between pieces are normal. The embossed pattern gives the light a faceted glow.
How do I clean it? Use a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth only, with no detergents.
