Miira 1 Large is a single pendant built around one generously sized hand blown glass globe on a slim metal rod. Where the multi light Miira chandeliers gather several globes together, this is the collection reduced to its simplest form, a single sphere of glass suspended on its own.
Brass finish and opal glass
This version pairs a brass finish with a large opal white glass globe. The opal glass diffuses light evenly across its whole surface, giving a soft, even glow rather than a sharp point of light, while the brass rod adds a warm, understated line running up to the ceiling.
How it works
Miira 1 Large takes a single G9 lamp (7W). The glass globe measures around 20cm across, and the fitting as a whole is about 35.8cm high, with a suspension cable that can extend up to 250cm. A ceiling plate is not included with this pendant, so let us know before ordering if you need one supplied. It is a hardwired fitting and needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in.
Where it works best
Because it is a single pendant, Miira 1 Large works well hung individually above a small side table, in a reading nook, or beside a bed, and just as well repeated in a row above a kitchen island or long table, where several can be spaced out for an even run of light.
