Nuura Miira 8 Light Circular Chandelier - Dark Bronze & Optic Clear Glass

Miira 8 Circular is the larger of Nuura's ring shaped chandeliers, holding eight hand blown glass globes evenly spaced around a wide metal ring. Rather than a cluster hanging in the centre of the room, the light spreads out flat and wide, and a wire suspension system lets it be hung high or low as needed.

Dark bronze finish and optic clear glass

Here the ring is finished in dark bronze and paired with optic clear glass. The glass has a fine embossed texture that breaks the light up into small points of sparkle rather than a uniform glow, and against the dark bronze metal that sparkle reads as slightly more dramatic than it would against a paler finish.

How it works

Miira 8 Circular takes eight G9 lamps (7W each). The ring spans around 100cm in diameter, the fitting is roughly 24.5cm high, and it suspends from a small ceiling plate about 14.8cm across. The cable can extend up to 400cm, giving plenty of scope to set the height in rooms with higher ceilings. It is hardwired and must be connected by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Given its wide span, Miira 8 Circular works best above a large dining table or a substantial kitchen island, where the ring can sit centrally and cast light evenly across the whole surface. It also suits open plan living and dining spaces where a single, wide fitting can anchor the room rather than several smaller lights.
