Nuura Miira 8 Light Circular Chandelier - Dark Bronze & Opal Glass

Miira 8 Circular gathers eight of the collection's mouth blown glass globes into a single flat ring rather than the loose, staggered cluster seen on the standard Miira chandeliers. Seen from below, it reads as one continuous hoop of light rather than eight separate pendants, a genuinely different silhouette within the Miira range. It is also a genuinely large fitting, 100cm across.

Dark bronze finish and opal glass

Here the ring is finished in a rich dark bronze powder coat, holding opal white glass globes that diffuse their light evenly across the whole surface of each sphere. The darker metal gives the piece a more grounded, moody presence than the brass version, while the opal glass keeps the light itself soft and even.

How it works

This chandelier takes eight G9 lamps (7W each), suspended from a wire system that allows the hanging height to be adjusted, with cable long enough for a drop of up to roughly 250cm. The ring measures approximately 100cm in diameter and around 24.5cm deep, with a ceiling plate of about 14.8cm. It's a hardwired fitting, so installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Given its size, it's best suited to rooms with generous ceiling height and open floor space beneath, above a long dining table, in a double height hallway, or over a large kitchen island. The dark bronze finish tends to sit particularly well in more tonal, contemporary interiors.

Questions People Ask

How big is the Miira 8 Circular chandelier? The ring is 1000mm in diameter and 245mm deep, with eight globes of 200mm diameter. The drop can be adjusted up to a maximum of 2500mm. Please check these measurements against your space before ordering.

Does it need an electrician to install? We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting. It is a hardwired Class I fitting and weighs 13kg.

Can I return it if I change my mind? No. Nuura fittings are made to order, so they are non-returnable once ordered, unless an item arrives faulty.

What bulbs does it take, and can it be dimmed? It takes eight G9 LED lamps, 7W maximum each, which are not supplied. It can be dimmed if installed with dimmable LED lamps suitable for your dimmer circuit.

Will the glass and finish look exactly like the photos? Not exactly. The opal glass is mouth blown and the dark bronze is hand finished, so each piece varies slightly, and screens render colour differently. If you are unsure about colour or size, please call customer service.

Can I use it in a bathroom? No. It is IP20 rated, so it is for dry indoor rooms only, such as a dining room, living room or hallway.
